Solicitation No.: W6369-17-A005/A – CALIBRATION, MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES
1. Description of Requirement
The Canadian Forces Health Services Group (CF H Svcs Gp) plans to establish a competitive contract for calibration services for a variety of Biomedical Engineering Technologist (BE Tech) medical test equipment and simulation devices. As well as repair services are required for preventive Medicine Technician (PMED) devices at various detachments across Canada.
2. Objective
The objective of this request for information is to:
2.1. Determine the extent to which there exists a level of interest and expertise in industry to provide CF H Svcs Gp with both 1) Calibration Services for a variety of BE Tech medical test equipment and simulation devices; and 2) Repair services for Preventive Medicine Technician (PMED) devices at various detachments across Canada..
2.2. Allow respondents to assess and comment on the adequacy and clarity of the requirements as currently expressed.
2.3. Allow respondents to propose alternate methods of performing the work.
2.4. Provide industry with an opportunity to communicate information about the factors that CF H Svcs Gp should take into consideration when planning and developing the procurement strategy.
2.5 To determine if industry is capable of providing calibration and repair services if required onsite at various detachments across Canada or offsite at contractor facility.
