    This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) has a requirement for consulting services of one senior business process consultant for the following:

    Training and certification of Facilities’ employees on Lean Six Sigma processes and methodologies and implementation of recommendations for short and long term actions.

    Trade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Canada free trade agreements with Chile/Colombia/Honduras/Panama, Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement, and Canada-Korea free trade agreement.

    Tendering procedures: The suppliers listed in this notice and qualified under the Tasks and Solutions Professional Services (TSPS) supply arrangement have been invited to submit a bid.

    Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest priced compliant bid.

    Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers.

    Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.

    Security Requirements: This contract includes security requirements.

    This RFP is only for pre-qualified Suppliers for Work Stream 2 – Business Consultant against the Task and Solutions Professional Services (TSPS) Supply Arrangement (SA) E60ZT-16TSPS-XXX-ZT. The following SA Holders have been invited to submit a proposal:

    The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

    The Correctional Service Canada (CSC) has a requirement to continuously improve CSC’s capital program.

    Objectives: Provide training and certification to Facilities Department personnel on Lean Six Sigma processes and methodologies and assist with the implementation of recommendations for short and long term actions.

    Deliverables: Specific deliverables, which will be specified in the resulting TAs will include, but not be limited to the following:

    1. Six Sigma Training and certification as per 1.3.1;
    2. Process for Continuous Improvement: Visio and Work instructions; and
    3. Report on a monthly basis on the progress of the continuous improvement projects.

    Term of Contract: Period of the Contract: The Work is to be performed from contract award to 3 months later with the option to renew for one (1) additional three month period.

Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
