Description of the Requirement:
This requirement is for a joint project between Defence R&D Canada (DRDC), Valcartier Research Center and CanmetMATERIALS, for the services of one (1) TSPS resource category 5.2 – Technician, Senior Level under Stream 5: Technical, Engineering and Maintenance Services (TEMS) Stream to support the vehicle armours and anti-armour projects within the Weapon Effects and Protection section. The intent of this solicitation is to establish up to one (1) Contract for two (2) years, with the option to extend the term of the Contract by up to two (2) one-year option periods under the same Conditions.

Proposed period of contract:
The proposed period of contract shall be from date of contract to August 1, 2020 inclusive. The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to two (2) additional one (1) year period(s) under the same conditions.
Estimated Level of Effort:
The estimated level of effort of the contract will be for 300 days for the initial period and 150 days for each option period.
