DELIVERABLES / SCOPE OF WORK
The scope of work for this project is the provision of construction activities to construct a new concrete launchway at Harbour Breton, NL, as is more specifically described below and in the Drawings and Specifications, subject to all terms and conditions of the Contract.
In general, the work under this contract consists of, but will not necessarily be limited to, the following:
.1 Removal of existing shoreline rip rap and existing guide rail, as required, to facilitate the construction of new launchway, as indicated on the drawings.
.2 Supply and installation of a new concrete launchway, complete with treated timber cribwork, as shown on the drawings. Excavation of harbor sediments will be required to seat cribs, as noted on drawings.
.3 Supply and installation of precast concrete panels as well as concrete slab on grade, as indicated on drawings.
.4 Supply and installation of uplands granulars and rip rap to suit the new launchway, as noted on drawings.
.5 Supply and installation of treated dimension timber coping, wheelguard and wheelguard blocking, as indicated on drawings.
