Banff Secondary Road and Parking Lot Re-Construction and Overlay – Fall 2018

Requirement:

Banff National Park requires a contractor to perform work on a number of secondary roads and parking lots including Lake Minnewanka Scenic Dr, 5 Mile Parking Lot, Bourgeau Trailhead Parking Lot, and Redearth Trailhead Parking Lot. Work includes asphalt milling, asphalt placement and overlay, subgrade preparation, ditch cleanout, drainage excavation, clearing and grubbing, geotextile placement and subgrade reconstruction, and line painting.

 To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $500,001 > $1,000,000, Taxes extra.

 Project Time Line:

The Contractor shall perform and complete all onsite Work by November 3, 2018

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.

Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk.
