This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Port-Cartier and Donnacona Institutions and the Community Correctional Centre (CCC) Marcel-Caron.
Trade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.
Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid.
Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers.
Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.
Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements.
Nature of Requirements:
The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) is looking for a Contractor to provide, as and when needed, skilled labor, tools and, when required, the supply to perform Carpenter and Apprentice Carpenter services. The institutions covered by this Standing Offer are Port-Cartier, Donnacona and Marcel-Caron Community Correctional Centre (CCC).
Objectives: Provide Carpenter and Apprentice Carpenter services at the Port-Cartier and Donnacona Institution and the CCC Marcel-Caron.
Deliverables: The Contractor will provide, as and when needed, skilled labor, parts and, when required, parts and material in order to perform the work for the Carpenter and Apprentice Carpenter services.
Term of Contract: This Standing Offer is for a twenty-one (21)-months period, from September 1st, 2020 until May 31st, 2020 with the possibility of one (1) additional twelve (12)-months period.

After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
