    Description

    Requirement:

    Construction of new sewage lift station and forcemain to service the Harry's Hill neighborhood in Lake Louise. Access road improvements to the reservoir site. Construction of a new watermain to connect the new potable water reservoir to the existing watermain on Slate Road. Construction of a new watermain adjacent to the existing pumphouse located on Fairview Drive.

    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $1,000,001 > $5,000,000 Taxes extra.

    Project Timeline:

    The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by August 30, 2019.

    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT

    There will be an optional site visit on Wednesday, August 22 at 1:00 PM MDT. Interested bidders are to meet at the location of the Proposed Harrys Hill Lift Station, Located off Slate Road in Lake Louise, in Banff National Park, Alberta. Directions: Turn onto slate road from the Trans Canada Highway, travel approximately 100m on slate road and turn right (east), travel approximately 130m past the office trailers. The proposed Lift Station is located at the gate (51° 25.925'N, 116° 10.986'W). 

    Safety Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the site visit have the proper personal protection equipment (safety glasses, footwear, vests and hard hats etc.). Contractor`s personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire may be denied access to the site.

    Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Bidders who do not participate will not be precluded from submitting a bid.

    Parks Canada relocated its office on July 30, 2018. It is the Bidder's responsibility to ensure that its bid is delivered on time to the appropriate address as identified below.

    National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
