    Description

    Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) is seeking proposals for research projects on the issue of immigration in Canada’s Official language minority communities (OLMCs). OLMCs include Francophone Minority Communities (FMCs) and English-Speaking Communities in Quebec (ESCQs).

    This research must enable IRCC to broaden its expertise and knowledge in the field of immigration in OLMCs, in accordance with Part VII of the Official Languages Act, which states that IRCC has an obligation to take positive measures to promote official languages and support the vitality of OLMCs.
