Requirement:

Parks Canada Agency requires a contractor to supply and deliver various explosive products for avalanche control on an as needed basis to various mountain National Parks.

Delivery locations: Various mountain National Parks including Jasper National Park, Mount Revelstoke and Glacier National Parks, Banff National Park, Kootenay National Park, Yoho National Park.

A resulting Standing Offer will be for a period of one year from 15 October 2018 to 15 October 2019 with the irrevocable option for Canada to extend for four (4) additional one (1) year option periods.

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-European union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
