    Description

    Requirement:

    Parks Canada requires the remediation of damaged buildings and infrastructure at three sites which were severely affected by the 2017 Kenow wildfire in Waterton Lakes National Park. These sites are the Gate House, the Golf Course Maintenance Building and Canyon Church Camp. The work primarily involves the removal and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, soils and debris at each site followed by the import and placement of backfill and topsoil materials in the excavated areas.

    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $500,001 > $ 1,000,000, Taxes extra.

    Project Timeline:

    The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by November 30, 2018

    Mandatory Site Visit

    There will be a mandatory site visit on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 1:00PM MDT. Interested bidders are to meet at:

    #1 Compound Road, Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta T0K 2M0.

    Bidders are to meet at the entrance to the Operations Building in the Parks Canada compound and are expected to wear a hard-hat, steel-toe boots and high-visibility vest during the site visit.

    The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the

    Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit.

    Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be accepted.

    National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
