Set-aside for Aboriginal Business
This procurement is set aside under the federal government's Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business (PSAB) as detailed in Annex 9.4 of the Supply Manual entitled "Requirements for the Set-Aside Program for Aboriginal Business".
In order to be considered, a bidder must certify that it qualifies as an Aboriginal business as defined under PSAB and that it will comply with all requirements of PSAB.
Bid Security:
Is required. To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $100,001 > $ 250,000, Taxes extra.
Delivery Date:
The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by November 30, 2018.
Information:
National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.
Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than seven (7) working days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. Enquiries received after that time may not be answered.
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
Site Visit:
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. There will be an optional site visit on Thursday October 18, 2018 at 01:00 pm (EDT). Interested bidders are to meet at:

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority before the site visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
