RFP 10180679: Electrical Support for Various Special Events and Projects in the National Capital Region (NCR) and areas.
The objective of this Request for Proposals is for the Department of Canadian Heritage (PCH) to find a supplier that will provide electrical support services for Canada Day, Winterlude, Christmas Lights Across Canada (CLAC) and other various events not known at the present moment, offered in the National Capital Region (NCR) and areas. These services will include but are not limited to the delivery, installation, monitoring and the removal of PCH owned electrical inventory as well as the maintenance and fabrication of the electrical inventory, and in accordance with the Statement of Work attached herein as Annex A. The period of the resulting contract will be from Contract award to July 7, 2019 with the possibility of extending the period by up to three (3) additional one (1) year option periods.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trades Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), the Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement (CCFTA), the Canada-Columbia Free Trade Agreement (CCOFTA), the Canada-Honduras Free Trade Agreement (CHOFTA), the Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement (CKFTA), the Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement (CPanFTA), the Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement (CPeFTA), and the Canada Ukraine Free Trade Agreement (CUkFTA) in force.
Suppliers that wish to submit a proposal must satisfy each of the following mandatory evaluation criteria:
M1:
Bidders must provide a valid copy of Contractors’ license numbers from the Electrical Contractor Registration Agency (ECRA) of the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) for work executed in Ontario.
M2:
Bidders must provide a valid copy of Contractors’ license numbers for sub category 16 from “La Corporation des Maîtres Électriciens du Québec (CMEQ)’’ for work executed in Quebec.
