Lake Louise Water Infrastructure Upgrades – Banff National Park

Requirement:

Parks Canada Agency requires the construction of a new sewage lift station and forcemain to service the Harry's Hill neighborhood in Lake Louise, access road improvements to the reservoir site, construction of a new watermain to connect the new potable water reservoir to the existing watermain on Slate Road, construction of a new watermain adjacent to the existing pumphouse located on Fairview Drive, and construction of new watermain and sewermain along Village road starting at Hector Rd and terminating at Fairview Rd.

To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value over & above $5,000,001, Taxes extra.

Project Timeline:

The Contractor shall perform and complete all onsite Work by November 1, 2019.

Optional Site Visit

There will be an optional site visit on December 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM MST. Interested bidders are to meet at the location of the Proposed Harrys Hill Lift Station, located off Slate Road in Lake Louise, in Banff National Park, Alberta. Directions: Turn onto slate road from the Trans Canada Highway, travel approximately 100m on slate road and turn right (east), travel approximately 130m past the office trailers. The proposed Lift Station is located at the gate (51° 25.925'N, 116° 10.986'W).

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority before the optional site visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
