    DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – Project # SN001489_69593 – Increasing physical training capacity - new gymnasium, St-Jean Garrison (QC)

    The work includes, but is not limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary for the construction of a new gymnasium involving, among other things, selective demolition, renovation and expansion of building B-182 (Sports Centre sector), demolition of Building B-131, and construction of a new field house gymnasium adjacent to Building B-182 and others related works.

    The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the order of $25 000 000,00

    Bidders are advised that bid and contract security is required when the advertised budget (estimated cost for this opportunity) is greater than $100,000. Refer to the Instructions to Tenderers (Form DCL193), paragraph 5.

    The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than 900 calendar days after notification of contract award and must be completed no later than 60 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion.

    This procurement is being conducted in accordance with the requirements set out in Chapter Five of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), Chapter Ten of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Chapter Nineteen of the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA).

    THIS PROJECT CONTAINS A SECURITY REQUIREMENT

    The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). Details concerning the Security Requirements for this project are identified in the Tender Documents.
