SHEET METAL WORKER SERVICES
This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Quebec Region.

Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid per institution.
Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers.
Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.
Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements.
Nature of Requirements:
The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to provide sheet metal worker and apprentice sheet metal worker services, which include but are not limited to : the supply of the labour, tools, and when requested by the CSC, materials, special equipment and disposal to perform sheet metal worker and apprentice sheet metal worker services.
Objectives: Perform inspection, maintenance repair and work on the ventilation systems of the various institution in the Quebec Region, which include Laval Complex, Donnacona Institution and Marcel-Caron Correctional Community Centre (CCC), Joliette Institution, Lanaudière Parole Office and Laferrière CCC, Martineau, Ogilvy, Hochelaga and Sherbrooke CCC, La Macaza Institution and Port-Cartier Institution.
Deliverables: The Contractor must provide various task that include, but are not limited to, installation, modification, adjustment and repair of ventilation air supply and extraction dust, installation of devices and equipment on the air distribution network, flow measurement and air quality analysis, vibration analysis, etc. For more information, please refer to the Technical Requirements section of the Specifications.
Term of Contract: The term of the Contract is from the Contract’s award until May 31st, 2020 inclusively.

Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
