The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for the up-fit of a 2009 GMC C7500 crew cab 4 x 4 cab and chassis in accordance with RCMP specifications detailed in Annex "A" - Statement of Work - Crisis Negotiation Truck Mandatory Specification Requirement.

The requirement includes 1 option to up-fit with the same box build for a 4 x 4 cab and chassis that will be provided by the RCMP in accordance with RCMP specifications detailed in Annex "A" - Statement of Work - Crisis Negotiation Truck Mandatory Specification Requirement. The Option 1 can be exercised within 24 months of contract award, respectively.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), the Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement (CCFTA), the Canada-Colombia Free Trade Agreement (CCOFTA), the Canada-Honduras Free Trade Agreement (CHFTA), the Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement (CPAFTA), the Canada Peru Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA), and the Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement (CKFTA).

A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract. (1 contract to be awarded).

The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

The Ineligibility and Suspension Policy and integrity clauses are being incorporated in RCMP contracting activities as outlined in this solicitation.

Bids must be submitted only to Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Bid Receiving Unit by the date, time and place indicated on page 1 of the bid solicitation.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.

The bid solicitation documents contain all the requirements relating to the bid solicitation. Any other information or documentation provided to or obtained by a bidder from any source are not relevant. Bidders should not assume that practices used under previous contracts will continue, unless they are described in the bid solicitation. Bidders should also not assume that their existing capabilities meet the requirements of the bid solicitation simply because they have met previous requirements. It is the Bidder's responsibility to obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the bid solicitation, if necessary, before submitting a bid.
