Requirement:

Parks Canada Agency requires the construction of a new Operations Centre building at the Lake Louise Campground. Components of the building include: staff meeting area and lunch/lounge area, two office spaces, garage, storage area, as well as parking. Building construction is related to consolidation of various existing infrastructure throughout the Lake Louise Campground. Site has already been cleared of trees by PCA.

To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $1,000,001 > $5,000,000 Taxes extra

Project Timeline:

The Contractor shall perform and complete all onsite Work by January 10, 2020

Optional Bidders’ Teleconference:

A bidders' teleconference will be held on February 21, 2019. The conference will begin at 10:00 AM MST. The scope of the requirement outlined in the bid solicitation will be reviewed during the conference and questions will be answered. It is recommended that bidders who intend to submit a bid attend or send a representative.

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority before the conference to confirm attendance. Bidders should provide, in writing, to the Contracting Authority, the names of the person(s) who will be attending and a list of issues they wish to table no later than one day prior to the teleconference.

The teleconference call coordinates will be provided to confirmed participants following notification of attendance with the Contracting Authority.

Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the bidders' conference will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Bidders who do not attend will not be precluded from submitting a bid.

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.

Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
