    REQUIREMENT

    The Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development (DIAND) has a requirement for one (1) Executive Secretary of the Arctic Council’s Sustainable Development Working Group (SDWG)

    PROJECT DESCRIPTION

    On a strategic level, the SDWG Executive Secretary provides the Chair with support and advice to ensure the timely and robust completion of SDWG activities and initiatives. The Executive Secretary may also be called upon to represent the Chair of the SDWG at workshops and meetings. Owing to long distances and variations in time zone, the Executive Secretary should have excellent time management skills and be willing to travel domestically and internationally.

    SECURITY REQUIREMENTS

    There is no security requirements associated with this Request for Proposal (RFP).

    DURATION OF CONTRACT

    One (1) year with three (3) additional one (1) year period.

    EVALUATION PROCESS AND SELECTION METHODOLOGY

    The bid must meet the mandatory technical criteria specified in the RFP. The Bidder must provide the necessary documentation to support compliance with this requirement.

    Bids which fail to meet the mandatory technical criteria will be declared non-responsive. Each mandatory technical criterion should be addressed separately.

    Basis of Selection - Highest Combined Rating of Technical Merit and Price.
