Description
This work is to develop and implement enhancements to the current quality management for the EnerGuide Rating System (ERS). The objective of the QA program is to sustain and strengthen the quality of EnerGuide ratings generated by NRCan and utilized by over 60 parties across Canada.
The contractor will be required to propose enhancements to the ERS Quality Assurance program, based on current measures and components in place, opportunities for improvement or as a result of recent Housing programs changes, and anticipated future business needs.
The primary focus of the work will be about the ERS data quality, as this will support compliance to 2energy requirements in building codes – including current code requirements in B.C., and the national building code expected to roll out in 2020.
In scope: ERS data flow, storage and transfers; ERS processes, procedures, and guidelines; quality metrics and tools.
Out of scope: EnerGuide standard and rating calculation, label and reports; Network delivery structure.
