Description
SCOPE OF WORK
Project concerns the sealing of transversal and longitudinal cracks of approximately 20700 m in total primarily on SGEC Parkway (from Canada Aviation Museum to St-Joseph boulevard and , afterwards on Champlain bridge including sealing and patching various expansion joint on the bridge.
Construction works include the mobilisation/demobilisation, site clean-up and re-instatement/restoring of damaged areas, environmental protection measures and other related works, pedestrian/cyclists and motorists management plan during construction (Since the parkway and roadway will remain open to public), the demolition and transportation off site of any debris from construction work,
CONSTRUCTION TIME:
The work is to be carried out outside peak rush hours, between 9 am and 3 pm, Monday to Friday inclusively beginning on Monday, June 10, 2019 and ending on Friday, June 21, 2019. The sealing work cannot be done during statutory holidays, rainy days or when outside temperature exceeds 40C.
Site visit: No formal site visit is scheduled. The bidder assumes all responsibility for obtaining sufficient information and hereby certifies that he/she has visited the above site and is fully content and satisfied that he/she has obtained full knowledge of all matters affecting the proper execution and completion of the work described in the specifications and/or drawings relating to the tender

Except for the approval of alternative materials as described in GI15 of the General Instructions to Bidders, enquiries should be received no later than five (5) calendar days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer not being provided
