This amendment is raised to do the following:
1. Extend the one-on-one meetings end date,
2. Add a new section in the RFI document; and,
3. Correct minor typos in the RFI document.

This pre-solicitation announcement is developed to support the engagement processes for the Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) Innovations Call For Proposals (CFP) 2019.
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) intends to issue a Call for Proposals (CFP) on behalf of Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC), an agency of the Department of National Defence (DND). The CFP will be an invitation to the scientific, technical and innovation communities to submit science and technology proposals in support of Canada’s defence, security and safety. The CFP covers a wide range of subjects and seeks solutions to address DRDC's scientific and technological needs/gaps/challenges within the research and development context.
In advance of the CFP, PWGSC is seeking information and feedback from industry, academia and other stakeholders on their interest, capacity and ability to provide research and development services as described in the draft CFP document, a copy of which is being provided via this Request for Information. Feedback is also being solicited regarding the procurement approach and methodology.
The Request for Information (RFI) provides instructions for industry, academia and other stakeholders who are interested in participating in this engagement process. Participation in the engagement process is not a requirement to submit a proposal to the upcoming CFP.
Canada is scheduling one-on-one meetings between April 22 – May 6, 2019.
