Shared Services Canada (SSC) is preparing for the launch of the Cyber Security Procurement Vehicle (CSPV) and will be presenting a content update to formally conclude the industry engagement phase which took place as a part of the RFI for the Cyber Security Program (BPM00004459). https://buyandsell.gc.ca/procurement-data/tender-notice/PW-18-00833467

The WebEx will provide the latest update on the Cyber Security Procurement Vehicle as a result of the feedback provided from RFI respondents and industry associations. Areas of focus were the mandatory requirements, underrepresented groups, the option to provide additional capacities, and evaluation mechanisms. The WebEx will also provide important dates and guidelines for submitting responses using the Procure to Pay (P2P) portal. This WebEx will be carried out on Thursday, April 25^th, 2019 between 11:00AM-12:00PM EDT.

This procurement is subject to the National Security Exception and is, therefore, excluded from all of the obligations of the trade agreements.

In 2016, SSC adopted a new system called Procure-to-Pay (P2P) to electronically manage procurement to payment processes. P2P integrates accounts payable and procurement processes, allows for automated work routing and email notifications, provides end-to-end electronic approvals and enables SSC to move towards paperless processing.

SSC’s suppliers will be required to interface with the SSC P2P portal for the Cyber Security Procurement Vehicle.

Suppliers can register in the SSC P2P portal in order to:

1. view and access solicitations from SSC;
2. submit a bid to a solicitation;
3. receive updates and amendments regarding solicitations;
4. be awarded contracts and receive contract amendments;
5. receive electronic Purchase Orders; and
6. submit invoices and receive payment status updates.
