    Description of Work:

    Background

In a Memorandum to Cabinet on Web Renewal Initiative, to modernize and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Government of Canada’s online presence, Service Canada was identified as the Principal Publisher (PP) of Canada.ca.

Canada.ca operates as a single website via a single common platform, namely the Managed Web Service (MWS). The Principal Publisher manages MWS and related tools that allow publishing of all content on Canada.ca.

The function of the Principal Publisher includes providing services to institutions across government to support their needs for publishing web content and related user accounts, supporting web content templates, providing guidance for content publishing, managing social media accounts, providing reports on systems and training on how to use the web tools.

To assist institutional publishers to navigate in Canada.ca, the Principal Publisher (PP) has developed GC specific training for the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) software. AEM is the new publishing tool that is being used across GC by over 70 institutions. This training will only involve the areas and concepts of AEM that institutional publishers will use in their daily duties.

    Objective

    • Service Canada has a general requirement for the services of two (2) Senior IT Instructors to support the ongoing courseware development and training delivery of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to plan, design and deliver an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages institutional participants to develop and fulfill their learning potential in AEM.
