    This requirement is open only to those TBIPS Supply Arrangement Holders who qualified under Tier 1 for services in the National Capital Region for the following category

    1. One (1) Stream 1: Application Services – Application/Software Architect – Level 3
    2. Up to three (3) Stream 1: Application Services – Programmer Analyst – Level 3
    3. Up to three (3) Stream 4: Business Services – Business Analyst – Level 3
    4. One (1) Stream 5: Project Management Services – Project Manager – Level 3

    Description of Work:

    DFATD is seeking skilled resources that have experience in migrating applications from legacy applications and platforms to Microsoft dynamics (including an understanding of the constraints of the Government of Canada Case platform. The objective is for the resources to assist in the performance but is not limited to the following:

    1. Creating project plans and roadmaps;
    2. Review and coordinate with clients on identified legacy applications for migration to Dynamics to manage scope of legacy migration;
    3. Capture relevant and updated business requirements for identified legacy applications;
    4. Provide clients with preliminary prototypes for dynamics migration look and feel;
    5. Identify opportunities for improvement in existing apps being migrated to leverage MS Dynamics capabilities;
    6. Create plans for individual projects;
    7. Developing solution architectures (data, business, application);
    8. Performing deep dive Joint Application Development (JAD) prototyping sessions in a multi-stakeholder/multi-mission/international environment;
    9. Developing the solution;
    10. Developing plugins to other systems;
    11. Perform fit into DFATD Dynamics ecosystem, including re-use of existing architectural components and entities;
    12. Performing Question and Answers;
    13. Coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions;
    14. Performing User Experience (UX) assessments and focus testing;
    15. Creating training material;
    16. Deploying solutions;

    The resources will report to the Extended Relationship Management (XRM) Center of Excellence and will work in collaboration with the workload migration-working group. The center of excellence will provide guidance and support, including standards and access to the required tools and environments.

    Throughout the duration of the contract, the resources will work closely with DFATD’s internal resources in a collaborative manner to help achieve the organization’s objectives.

    As part of the work arrangement, resources must perform full documentation and knowledge transfer of all activities to DFATD employees as requested during the period of the contract.

    The work will be structure sequentially based on the priorities of the workload migration initiative, which is currently the priority of the Director General of Information Technology (IT).
