Description
  • The adoption of cloud computing is multidimensional, and not a fixed-duration project. As a result, the complexity of cloud adoption requires appropriate cloud architecture to lead ECCC through the transformation that a cloud program warrants.
  • The cloud architect has three main responsibilities: developing, implementing, coordination and teach ECCC aspects related to cloud architecture; assist with the implementation of ECCC’s cloud strategy via the cloud adoption process; ensure knowledge transfer of all appropriate skill sets regarding cloud.
  • The cloud architect must have a variety of technical and nontechnical skills, but above all, the cloud architect must have a great ability to collaborate with various stakeholders across ECCC and the GC in order to empower and connect with a variety of other roles in ECCC. The cloud architect will be required to play a key role in the transfer of existing applications and workloads to the Cloud as well as establishing new workloads in the Cloud, provide advice and guidance on ensuring the elasticity of various workloads in the Cloud to maintain performance and adhere to established SLAs and other cloud related requirements.
