The Department of National Defence (DND) is seeking to establish a contract to satisfy its requirement for one (1) Environmental and Hazardous Substance Management Consultant to provide DND a Hazardous Substances Program and develop the environmental functional area within the Program, including a directive on the import and export of asbestos containing parts in equipment. This bid solicitation is intended to result in the award of one (1) contract for approximately five (5) months from date of Contract to 30 April 2020 (estimated). The delivery point is in the National Capital Region.

Tasks and Deliverables are detailed in Annex “A” of the Request for Proposal.
The Mandatory and Point Rated Criteria are detailed in the Request for Proposal (RFP).
There are no security requirements associated with this requirement.
Bidders are to refer to the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the detailed requirement.
The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
DND reserves the right not to award a Contract, regardless of the proposals received.
There is currently no contract in place for this service.
Where this notice and the RFP differ, the RFP shall prevail.
