    Description

    The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for a firm quantity of 330 Belt, Sword, Officer’s in accordance with RCMP Purchase Description PD-PC-49 dated 2019-08-07; and respective viewing sample(s).

    The requirement includes three (3) options of 50 Belt, Sword, Officer’s each which can be exercised within twelve (12), twenty-four (24) and thirty-six (36) months of contract award, respectively.

    The requirement also includes special stock quantities “as and when requested” (made-to-measure sizes) of Belt, Sword, Officer’s which can be ordered within 48 months of contract award.

    The Purchase Description can be found attached to the Request for Proposal (RFP).

    The RCMP viewing sample(s) will only be available to bidders that are requested to submit a pre-award sample(s).

    This requirement is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

    This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian Goods (See CFTA, Article 503, paragraph 4).

    The responsive bid with the lowest total evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract (1 contract only).

    The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

    The Ineligibility and Suspension Policy and integrity clauses are being incorporated in RCMP contracting activities as outlined in this solicitation.

    Bids must be submitted only to Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Bid Receiving Unit by the date, time and place indicated on page 1 of the bid solicitation.

    Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.

    The bid solicitation documents contain all the requirements relating to the bid solicitation. Any other information or documentation provided to or obtained by a bidder from any source are not relevant. Bidders should not assume that practices used under previous contracts will continue, unless they are described in the bid solicitation. Bidders should also not assume that their existing capabilities meet the requirements of the bid solicitation simply because they have met previous requirements.

    It is the Bidder's responsibility to obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the bid solicitation, if necessary, before submitting a bid.
