    NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT (NPP)

    Title: Ahousaht Marine Facility Replacement

    Solicitation Number: M2989-9-0363

    Description: The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) requires the provision of all labour and materials to carry out the replacement of the Ahousaht Marine Facility in Ahousaht British Columbia. Work includes, but is not limited to the removal and disposal of dilapidated approach structure and floats, and supply and fabrication of aluminum gangway and approach spans.

    This is a first phase (Phase one) of a two-phase competition: the first phase (refer to SI05-Submission of Bid) will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached Request for Qualifications; second phase (Phase two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings (not included here). The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 60 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first.

    Initially, suppliers are invited to submit a bid in the first phase of the selection procedure. Only the Phase One information asked for in the ITT is to be included in the Phase One bid, and evaluation of Phase One bids will be carried out only on the Phase One information requested.

    No further Request for Qualifications will be published for this solicitation.

    The Contractor must complete the work no later than twelve (12) weeks from contract award date.

    There is a security requirement associated with the requirement.
