    Description

    Title: Data Modellers / Information Management Modellers

    Description of the Requirement:

    The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to award one (1) contract for the services of three Data Modellers / Information Management Modellers at the intermediate level.

    The services will be on an as and when required basis. The initial contract period is two (2) years from contract award, with up to two (2) additional one (1) year option periods.

    Objective:

    The Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) requires the services of up to three (3) resources : I.4 Data Modeller / Information Management Modeller (Level 2) to support and enhance the NIHB SAS suite of software processes and custom program code. The Contractor will provide support, enhancements, programming and industry knowledge for the various SAS software tools/solutions available to NIHB. In particular, the Contractor will redesign NIHB pharmacy and dental data warehouse and ETL processes, build data warehouses and ETL processes for Mental Health Counselling and Vision Care benefits, as well as perform system maintenance.

    The services will be required on a full-time, part-time and on an as-needed basis using Task Authorization Contract.

    Scope:

    The Contractor must provide, as and when requested by Canada services to enable the expansion of NIHB data and analysis by updating current NIHB data warehouse and ETL processes to reflect changes in underlying data sources, via the Contractor’s software specific knowledge, industry experience and programming expertise.
