Description
Request for Proposals (RFP) – Model Lifecycle Governance Solution
About Farm Credit Canada (FCC): FCC is Canada’s leading agriculture lender, with a healthy portfolio of more than $36 billion. Our employees are dedicated to the future of Canadian agriculture and its role in feeding an ever-growing world. We provide flexible, competitively priced financing, management software, information and knowledge specifically designed for the agriculture and agri-food industry. As a self-sustaining Crown corporation, our profits are reinvested back into the agriculture and food industry we serve and the communities where our customers and employees live and work while providing an appropriate return to our shareholder. For more information, visit www.fcc.ca or follow us on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and on Twitter @FCCagriculture.
RFP Scope:
Currently FCC manages a suite of approximately 150 models, primarily within a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. There is currently no workflow process to document the steps throughout a model’s lifecycle from inception to decommission and no automation is in place to trigger model development or validation activities. Additionally, no system is in place to track approvals of a model for deployment through the model life cycle, and no audit trail is readily available.
The objective of this RFP is to investigate potential solutions that will enable governance, auditability and automation throughout the model life cycle to support both model development and model validation in a manner consistent with business needs.
RFP Schedule:
RFP issue date: January 6, 2020
Vendor questions accepted until: January 17, 2020 at 5:00 PM
RFP closing date and time: February 7, 2020 at 2:00 PM
