    Transpolar Technology Corporation and The Halifax Computer Consulting Group In Joint Venture Description of Work:

    The Corporate Information Management Directorate (CIMD) of ISC provides national leadership, functional guidance, tools and services to departmental personnel in the areas of Information Management. CIMD has the lead role in developing Information Management vision, philosophies, strategies and implementation plans for the program areas of the Department.

    CIMD provides functional guidance to its clients, and the Directorate must develop and promulgate policies, systems, standards, processes and practices which comply with Treasury Board Information Management Policy, the Library and Archives of Canada Act, Access to Information and Privacy legislation, and the Policy on Government Security. At times, the Directorate requires the services of outside consultants to assist in fulfilling its mandate, to provide specialized skill sets not available internally and to augment internal resources for large information, data, and records management projects.

    Departments of Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) has a requirement to support ISC’s Information Management (IM) services and related practices to explicitly acknowledge the value of this information, the importance of managing it within the department, and the benefits of treating it as a strategic asset.

    ISC requires Project and Information Management services on an as-and-when requested basis to support initiatives undertaken by the Corporate Information Management Directorate (CIMD) of ISC in the areas of information and records management, including project management, policy and procedure development, strategy development, development and implementation of information management programs and systems, as well as the provision of records management support services.

    As a result, ISC requires ten (10) specialized resource categories at level 1, 2 and 3 as per the table provided above.

    • Bidders must submit a bid for all resource categories.
