Description of Work:
OBJECTIVE
The IM/IT Business Solution Centre division requires the services of three (3) senior technical resources – one (1) Programmer Analyst (.Net), one (1) Programmer Analyst (SharePoint), and one (1) ERP Technical Analyst (Business Objects) to complement its software development team and assist with the development of its various applications.
BACKGROUND
The CRTC is an independent public authority in charge of regulating and supervising Canadian broadcasting and telecommunications. It serves the public interest and is governed by the Broadcasting Act of 1991 and the Telecommunications Act of 1993. The CRTC is responsible for and has the authority of regulating and supervising all aspects of the Canadian broadcasting system, as well as regulating telecommunications carriers and service providers.
One of the primary objectives of the Broadcasting Act is to ensure that all Canadians have access to a wide variety of high quality Canadian programming.
The IT - Business Solutions Centre (IBC) has the responsibility of ensuring that there are no interruptions of services and that all of the CRTC applications, including the current GC Key enabled applications remain fully functional and accessible.
Bidders must submit a bid for all resource categories
The work is currently being performed by Lumina under two contracts (combined value of $1,493,754.08).
