The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary for soil remediation of the Canadian Forces Fire Fighting Training Area (FFTA), CFB Borden. Work includes construction of a containment cell, excavation of contaminates soils, decommissioning of above and below grade infrastructure and disposal of PFAS contaminated water from two treatment lagoons and effluent pond.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the range of $18,700,000

This procurement is being conducted in accordance with the requirements set out in

Chapter Five of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), Chapter Ten of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Chapter Nineteen of the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-GPA).

The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than November 30, 2021 and must be completed no later than January 4, 2022.
