     SCOPE OF WORK / KEY ACTIVITIES

    There is a need for a Systems Analyst level - 3 to assist the maintenance team with in documenting and maintaining the ongoing support of CIPO applications. This resource will work directly with the applications maintenance team providing CA-Gen expertise in documenting, maintaining and supporting the TechSource product.

    Duties may include:

    1. Work in compliance with the programming and documentation standards and best practices as established by ISED Canada;
    2. Provide high quality customer service support throughout the length of the contract;
    3. Develop technical estimates, specifications and documentation for assigned workload as required;
    4. Work collaboratively with the support team(s) to help maintain and deploy the TechSource application, as required to meet the client’s needs;
    5. Establish, document and maintain appropriate processes and protocols required to generate and maintain CA-Gen program-code in support of the TechSource application;
    6. Provide coaching and mentorship for the processes and protocols required to generate and maintain CA-Gen program-code in support of the TechSource application;
    7. Generate and maintain CA-Gen program code as required;
    8. Coordinate multiple parallel projects and associated CA-Gen Models;
    9. Manage CA-Gen models and CA-Gen model families in the mainframe MVS CE operating environment;
    10. Maintain multiple development and staging CICS environments;
    11. Upgrade CA Gen modules or apply patch/bundle releases;

    12. Coordinate with the developers and team leaders in order to establish the content and timing of migrations and promotions;

    13. Perform CA-Gen model migrations;

    14. Perform Java and C++ migrations;

    15. Raise change records for the scheduling of migrations/promotions into non-development regions;

    16. Conduct defect analysis’ and mitigation, including the implementation of necessary fixes and enhancements;

    17. Troubleshoot production problems in a timely manner.

    18. Attend regular status meetings as required

    19. Participate in agile scrum meetings as required;

    20. Provide technical support and guidance when requested and required;

    21. Develop and maintain technical documentation;

    22. Provide coaching and mentoring to ISED staff;

    23. Complete and submit, for weekly approval, time sheets by project using the (in-house) Project Tracking System.

    PERIOD OF CONTRACT

    Initial Contract Period: Contract award to June 30, 2021 and two (2) six (6) months option periods
