Description
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) requires the services of Detention Guards (formerly referred to as Guards and Matrons) on an as required basis to assist with duties as defined within the Statement of Work, which are related to the safety and well-being of persons incarcerated in the four RCMP detachment cells located in the Nunatsiavut territory of Newfoundland and Labrador. These locations include Hopedale, Nain, Rigolet and Makkovik.
The period of the standing offer will be one year from the date of award with the option to extend for two additional one year periods.
The requirement is limited to Canadian goods and/or services.
This procurement is subject to the Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement.
There is a security requirement associated with this Standing Offer.
Basis of selection:
An offer must comply with the requirements of the Request for Standing Offer and meet all mandatory
technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive offer with the lowest evaluated price will be
recommended for issuance of a standing offer.
