    Description

    DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – Project No. SLS02096 – Janitorial Services, CFB Shilo, Manitoba.

    The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary to perform janitorial cleaning services and specified related work for various buildings, located at RPOU (West) Detachment Shilo, Shilo, Manitoba.

    This Janitorial Services Contract requires the Contractor to be responsible for the Janitorial Services of all identified buildings within the defined property limits that will ensure compliance with all regulations, standards and codes throughout the contract term.

    NOTE: There is no site visit scheduled for this opportunity.

    Bidders wishing to visit the site may request a site visit by contacting DCC Contracting Authority mentioned above. At the discretion of DCC, a site visit may be arranged if possible.

    The estimated value for this opportunity over the initial period is in the order of $2,100,000.00. Extension opportunities exist where, if fully extended, the total opportunity value could increase up to $6,500,000.00.

    The Contractor will be required to provide Janitorial Services for the initial period starting on October 1, 2020 until March 31, 2022.
     
    If mutually agreeable between the Contractor and DCC, the contract may be extended for three (3) additional one (1) year periods with the same Terms and Conditions and applicable cost escalation.

    This procurement is being conducted in accordance with the requirements set out in Chapter Five of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), Chapter Ten of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Chapter Nineteen of the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA).

    The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). Details concerning the Security Requirements for this project are identified in the Tender Documents.
