    Description

Replacement of Port Dover SAR dock Including Beams and Decking above Water

The condition of the Port Dover Dock east of the Coast Guard residence building is severely deteriorated. The dock has been barricaded since 2012 as it is considered structurally unsafe. The hollow core concrete slab is severely spalled and cracked through, and wood beams edging the dock are missing or falling off. There is concern regarding the dock becoming submerged and causing damage to search and rescue vessels.
