Description of Work:
Global Affairs Canada (GAC) strives for excellence in its corporate services and is focused on continuously improving its financial management practices, applying high standards and ensuring that Canadian taxpayer resources are used diligently.
The corporate services function within GAC continues to look to strengthen its management processes and procedures, systems, service delivery model, tools and analytics capacity. GAC aims to identify innovative new ways to improve data and business processes efficiencies.
Robotics Process Automation (RPA) is one tool the department will use to streamline and automate processes to compliment the work GAC’s people do and allow them to focus on more value-added tasks. GAC has already been using Blue Prism (RPA software) to automate processes in financial planning and management, but would like to augment GAC’s RPA service delivery capacity and expand our capability in this space.
GAC requires Robotic Process Automation (RPA) associated professional services resources for the planning, development, implementation and deployment of RPA capabilities, as well as business process improvements across GAC’s corporate service functions to improve timeliness and accuracy of routine, manual, high volume transactions to improve client service delivery across corporate services.
