    Description

The Departmental Financial and Materiel System used by both Canadian Heritage (PCH) and Parks Canada Agency (PCA) is SAP version ECC 6.0 also internally known as STAR. SAP is a shared enterprise-wide system that was sanctioned by Treasury Board Secretariat as suitable for financial and materiel management within the Federal Government. That application has been in production since 1998 at PCH and continues to evolve.

In addition, the PCH instance, also used by PCA, has a Business Intelligence (BI) solution, currently comprised of Business Warehouse (BW 7.4) and Netweaver Enterprise Portal (EP 7.5).

PCH is currently implementing a new BOBJ/Lumira solution supported by BI-IP. The solution will be released in a phased approach. The target release in production for the first phase is early 2021.

The objective of the contract is to secure the services of two (2) senior SAP Business Intelligence developers. One with SAP Business Intelligence/Business Object (BI/BOBJ) functional and technical knowledge and the other resource with SAP Business Warehouse Integrated Planned (BW-IP) knowledge.

Both are required to support the successful implementation a new SAP BI/BOBJ solution at the Canadian Heritage (PCH) instance, and migrate the current Business Warehouse (BW) reports and dashboard applications to Lumira Designer.
