    Description

    The National Research Council of Canada is currently developing an instrument to perform ore sorting on conveyor by laser spectroscopy. The objective of the contract is to deliver two copies of a custom electronic card as well as a control software that will be used in the prototype instrument. The scope of work consists of:

    • Review and finalize the software and hardware architecture of the instrument and its accessories;

    • Review and finalize the software and electronic design of the instrument;

    • Document the manufacturing, electronic diagrams and test plan of the main electronic board (control board) which includes, among other things, a microcontroller and an FPGA;

    • Make two copies of electronic boards including the FPGA programming;

    • Program the instrument control software based on the design made by the National Research Council of Canada.
