    Description

    Sealed tenders will be received by the Senior Procurement Officer, AAFC until 2:00 p.m., local Regina time, Tuesday, November 3, 2020, for the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Swift Current Research and Development Centre, Swift Current, SK, Contract No. 45 – Booster Pump and Backflow Prevention Upgrade. The work generally consists of the addition of Domestic water booster pump for the facility, piping work to eliminate cross connections in the domestic water system, and the addition of backflow preventors. All work to occur at the Swift Current Research and Development Centre, Airport Road, Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

    Non-Mandatory Site Visit

    There will be a non-mandatory site visit on October 21, 2020 at 10:00 AM CST. Interested bidders are to meet at the Swift Current Research and Development Centre.

    Please be advised that there will be a limit of two (2) representatives per bidder attending the site visit. Bidders are requested to RSVP to the site contact, Ken Frohlich, Facility Manager, (306-770-4407 or ken.frohlich@canada.ca) and Serena Ward (306-523-6743 or serena.ward@canada.ca) by October 20, 2020 at 12:00 PM CST. Should there be sufficient interest in site visit attendance, AAFC may assign time slots to bidders in an effort to maintain social distancing protocols.

    In accordance with provincial health regulations, interested bidders must be symptom free, wear a face mask and disposable gloves and observe social distancing from others on site.

    BIDS RECEIVED IN-PERSON OR BY COURIER MAY NOT BE ACCEPTED.

    The only acceptable email address for responses to bid solicitations is aafc.wscprocurement-csoapprovisionnement.aac@canada.ca. Bids submitted by email directly to the Contracting Authority or to any email address other than aafc.wscprocurement-csoapprovisionnement.aac@canada.ca may not be accepted.

    The maximum email file size that AAFC is capable of receiving is 15 megabytes. The Bidder is responsible for any failure attributable to the transmission or receipt of the emailed bid due to file size. Emails with links to bid documents will not be accepted. Bid documents must be sent as email attachments.

    Bidders are responsible for obtaining copies of bid forms, special instructions and amendments issued prior to bid closing, and are to ensure they are addressed in the submitted bid.

    This procurement contains mandatory requirements. Failure to comply may result in rejection of your bid.
