DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT:

Under the National Strategy to Combat Human Trafficking, the Federal Government is seeking to increase public awareness of human trafficking and build capacity in strategic areas to prevent human trafficking from occurring in Canada and internationally. Public Safety Canada (Public Safety) is seeking to develop multi-sectoral human trafficking training tools that are culturally relevant, trauma-informed and gender-responsive for, but not limited to, front-line workers from the following targeted sectors: hospitality, transportation, health care and foreign workers. The training tools will aim to increase awareness of the indicators and signs of human trafficking and enable employees to effectively identify victims and understand clear reporting procedures or systems.

The human trafficking training tools to be developed under this contract must focus on both sex and labour trafficking and provide clear and consistent information on the signs and indicators of human trafficking and how to report a suspected incident.

PERIOD OF WORK

The period of the Contract is from award to November 30, 2021.

EVALUATION PROCESS AND SELECTION METHODOLOGY

Basis of Selection – Highest Combined Rating Technical Merit (70%) and Price (30%)
