NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT
DND has a requirement for a Propellant Grinding System and associated documentation to be used for the purpose of reducing the size of propellant material to particles that fit through 2 mm and 3 mm sieves in support of the DND Propellant Testing Program.
The requirement is for a quantity of up to five (5) identical systems to be delivered to the following locations:
CFAD Angus: one (1) system required for delivery
CFAD Angus: option for one (1) additional system for delivery
CFAD Dundurn: option for one (1) system for delivery
Following the delivery of the first system to CFAD Angus, DND will undertake an evaluation of the delivered equipment. The decision to exercise the options for the second and third systems will be at the sole discretion of Canada.
Canada may have a requirement to purchase up to two (2) additional systems for delivery to Gatineau, Canada. The decision to exercise options for the fourth and fifth systems will be at the sole discretion of Canada.
Each system must include the following components:
- Cutting Mill;
- Remote Control;
- Temperature Measurement Device;
- Equipment Stand; and
- Spare Parts
Detailed specifications for each component can be found in the Statement of Work within the Request for Proposal Documentation.
The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
