Purpose and Nature of this RFI:
Public Works and Government Services Canada Europe (PWGSC E) are requesting industry feedback regarding the provision of real life services (RLS) needs required by the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF)Third Location Decompression (TLD) program, on an as and when required basis. Interested suppliers who have assessed the RLS requirement such as but not limited to, accommodation (Lodging), food services (meals), transportation, laundry and computer network/WIFI services are to submit their proposed solution to PWGSC E.
Background Information:
The CAF will conduct Third Location Decompression (TLD) programs in Koln, Germany for CAF personnel who are undergoing Decompression prior to continuation of their travel to Canada.
Canada foresees a need for RLS services in Koln, Germany in support of Third Location Decompression(TLD) programs during a period to be determined (TBD). Interested suppliers are hereby invited to provide Canada with proposals for RLS Services that shall include but are not limited to on-site accommodations, conference or meeting rooms and facilities and amenities.
A TLD period is intended for CAF members, who have undergone periods of prolonged and/or intense stress during an operational deployment, with a period of time for rest, physical relaxation and education at a location away from the operational theatre before they return home and reintegrate with their families and the community.
The purpose of (Decompression) is to provide a safe environment, outside of the combat theatre for CAF personnel to collectively decompress, rebuild interpersonal skills, and examine coping mechanisms necessary for their return to Canada. This will be accomplished through direct interaction with the care provider team and organized recreation and social activities.
