    This requirement is open only to those TBIPS EN578-170432 Supply Arrangement Holders who qualified under Tier 2 for services in the National Capital Region for the following category:

    • P.7 Project Coordinator – Level 3

    The following SA Holders have been invited to submit a proposal:

    Description of Work:

    RESOURCE REQUIREMENTS

    This SOW initially requires four (4) Project Coordinator – Level 3 consultants, with the possibility of adding one (1) additional resource later on to assist with the transformational data centre closure activities for the Data Centre Facilities Transformation Team within NCR.

    These positions may require occasional overtime (scheduled in advance) based on project/operational requirements. If the skill sets permit, the resources may work on various projects at the same time by using standardized developed operational processes.

    SCOPE OF WORK

    This scope of work will include the site identification of centres that will be scheduled for closure in FY 20/21 and FY 21/22 plus the identification of sites where planning for closure will occur for years beyond 2021/22. The data centres in question have already been identified via our DCCAPP (Data Centre Consolidation Application) tool. Sites are located across Canada so the ability to work in virtual teams is essential.

     4. TASKS

    The duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Review facilities related data reports from various tools on critical incidents or changes and compile a list of recommendations for site closures.

    • Support site evaluation to determine priority sites for closure.

    • Perform analysis on move feasibility, cost benefit savings and prepare overall project cost estimates

    • Support development of standard project plans and oversee plan delivery to transform/move/close data centres.

    • Draft requirements to extend the life of mechanical & electrical equipment at these locations if required.

    • Ensure all service level commitments and deliverables to partners are met.

    • Identify opportunities for process streamlining to ensure repeatable/scalable processes.

    • Liaising with external SSC support groups and partners to ensure smooth project delivery.

    • Track and report on a weekly basis the Projects status.

    • Bidders must submit four (4) resources against this category.
