Description
This requirement is open to Bidders for Services in the National Capital Region.
The Department of Canadian Heritage (PCH) is looking for a Contractor for rental, delivery and installation of crowd control barricades/barriers on an “as-and-when-requested” basis to be carried out for Canada Day events in accordance with the Statement of Work attached hereto as Annex “A”.
The services are required for two (2) years for Canada Day (2021 and 2022), with three additional one-year optional periods for Canada Day (2023, 2024 and 2025).
Mandatory Evaluation Criteria:
MT1: The Bidder must demonstrate that their crowd control barricades/barriers system meets the specifications and standards described in Article 2.1 of the Statement of Work (Annex “A”), by providing a product specification sheet and/or other relevant documentation.
MT2: The Bidder must demonstrate that they have sufficient inventory in order to fulfil the full requirement described in Article 2.1.1 of the Statement of Work (Annex “A”).
MT3: The Bidder must demonstrate that they have inventory in order to fulfil the full requirement described in Article 2.1.4 of the Statement of Work (Annex “A”).
MT4: The Bidder must demonstrate having a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the last ten (years) of bid closing date, in providing crowd control barricades/barriers to large scale events (large scale event is defined at 20,000 attendees or more).
MT5: The Bidder must provide the name and contact information (telephone number and e-mail address) of the Bidder’s Representative who will work directly with PCH.
Security Requirement: There is no security requirement applicable to the Contract.
