Refit of the Thermal Vacuum Chamber 3 at the David Florida Laboratory

Intent of this Tender is to obtain a firm price offer to refit the existing Thermal Vacuum Chamber (TV3) located at the David Florida Laboratory (DFL) in Ottawa, Ontario. This includes replacing an existing blower assembly with a new Thermal Conditioning Unit (TCU) complete with all associated architectural, mechanical, electrical and structural services & modifications.

Optional site visit: December 17, 2020 at 10 AM.

Amendment 1

This amendment is simply to correct the year of the closing date in the tender documents. The closing date is January 6, 2021 at 2:00 PM EST.

Amendment 2

In the document "rfp_9f023-20200416.pdf" under PART 4 – EVALUATION PROCEDURES AND BASIS OF SELECTION – Article 4. Mandatory Technical Criteria.

Remove:

*** Reference letters can be written by the bidders; The evaluation team will contact the referent for validation. If the referent provides conflicting information with those mentioned by the bidder, the reference letter will be considered invalid. During the evaluation, reference statements where the referent cannot be contacted in a reasonable timeframe (5 business days) will also be considered invalid.

Insert:

*** Reference letters can be written by the bidders; The evaluation team will contact the referent for validation. If the referent provides conflicting information with those mentioned by the bidder, the reference letter will be considered invalid. During the evaluation, reference statements where the referent cannot be contacted within ten (10) business days will also be considered invalid.

Amendment 3

The closing date is now January 13, 2021 at 2:00 PM EST.
