The Government of Canada currently has eight (8) employee housing (EH) units in Provost, Coronation and Consort, Alberta requiring interior renovation work. Generally, project consists of complete demolition/reinstallation of kitchens in two (2) EHs, reface of kitchen cabinets in three (3) EHs, main bathroom and ensuite cabinet replacement in three (3) EHs. There are various flooring types from laminate to carpet to be removed and replaced in six (6) EHs with luxury vinyl planks. Interior doors, closets and trim and baseboards to be replaced in five (5) EHs and repair or replacement of one exterior door sidelite panel. The interior living space measurements by location are as follows:
Provost, AB- 4 EHs totalling approximately 600 m2
Coronation, AB - 2 EHs totalling approximately 240 m2
Consort, AB - 2 EHs totalling approximately 240 m2
The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by March 31st, 2021.
This is a first phase (Phase one) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached Request for Qualifications; second phase (Phase two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 60 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first.
No further Request for Qualifications will be published for this solicitation.
