Description
The Department of National Defence has a requirement to provide crane-barge and diver services in support of the Directorate of Naval Platform Systems. The work will involve the replacement of the sensor array for Wright’s Cove, Nova Scotia, East West (E-W) magnetic range. The tasks include the following:
- Task 1 – Project Planning Meeting, Detailed Plan & mobilization
- Task 2 – pre-positioning of Anchors
- Task 3 – Subsea Pedestal Preparation
- Task 4- Deploy New Backbone Cable
- Task 5 – Sled Deployment
- Task 6 – New Sensor Install
- Task 7 – Project Completion Debrief and Demobilization
- Task 8 – maintenance at Other Ranges
For services requirements, Bidders must provide the required information as detailed in article 2.3 of Part 2 of the bid solicitation, in order to comply with Treasury Board policies and directives on contracts awarded to former public servants.
The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and/or services.
The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
