    Description

    The Department of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has a requirement to upgrade the Omnis Classic 7 software to the Omnis Studio 10.2 desktop and web version to ensure full future OS support and improved mobile accessibility.

    The work will involve the following:

    1. Conversion migration applied to one (1) existing system library (FMBIS_G&C.lbr) from Omnis Classic 7 to Omnis Studio 10.2 in Phase One of the project.

    2. Conversion migration to three (3) existing system libraries (FMBIS_Travel.lbr, FMBIS_SPA.lbr, and FMBIS_Main.lbr) from Omnis Classic 7 to Omnis Studio 10.2 in Phase Two of the project.

    The proposed resource will undertake the following activities for Phase One (1):

    1. Provide a detailed Work Plan Schedule for the design, development and delivery of the system including the development, testing and rollout of the changes.

    2. To convert and migrate all of the FMBIS_G&C.lbr library from Omnis7 Classic to Omnis Studio 10.2 Desktop and then to the Omnis Studio 10.2 Web (JavaScript) version.  The ultimate goal is to create a fully functional web-based G&C Agreements module that functions identical to the current one in Omnis7 Classic, from the FMBIS_G&C.lbr code provided by NRCan.

    3. To convert and migrate portions of the FMBIS_Main library, as provided in the FMBIS_Main.lbr code base, to Omnis Studio 10.2 Web (JavaScript) version to support the Grants and Contributions Module.

    4. Provide two (2) Omnis Studio 10.2 Desktop users test licenses and two (2) Omnis Studio 10.2 web user test licenses.

    5. Conduct testing and bug fixes with the assigned Testing Support Team as identified by the NRCan Project Authority. Bug fixes and code corrections, as identified by the Testing Support Team, will be the responsibility of Omnis Software and their team of programmers. Deployment to Production will be the responsibility NRCan and their assigned support team(s).

    6. Provide technical advice to NRCan and their assigned support team(s) to assist with deployment and deployment plans as may be required.

    7. Migrate Omnis Studio 10.2 Desktop to JavaScript code to deliver a functional web version of the Grants and Contributions module as per the NRCan AMi Grants and Contributions Module version 7.

    The proposed resource will undertake the following activities for the optional Phase Two (2):

    1. Provide a detailed Work Plan Schedule for the design, development and delivery of the deliverables including the development, testing and rollout.

    2. The conversion and migration of one (1) library, the Specified Purpose Account (SPA) library as provided in the FMBIS_SPA.lbr code base, to Omnis Studio 10.2 Desktop version, and then to the Omnis Studio 10.2 Web (JavaScript) version.  The ultimate goal is to create a fully functional web-based SPA module that functions identical to the current one in Omnis7 Classic, from the code provided by NRCan.

    3. The conversion and migration of two (2) libraries, the Travel, and Maintenance/Admin modules as provided in the FMBIS_Travel.lbr and FMBIS_Main.lbr code base, to Omnis Studio 10.2 Desktop version. The ultimate goal is to create fully functional desktop version of the Travel Modules and the Maintainance Administrative module that function identical to the current ones in Omnis7 Classic, from the code provided by NRCan.

    4. The conversion and migration portions of the FMBIS_Main library to Omnis Studio 10.2 support access to the Specified Purpose Account (SPA) the Travel and the Maintenance / Admin modules.

    5. Provide two (2) Omnis Studio 10.2 Desktop users test licenses and two (2) Omnis Studio 10.2 web user test licenses.

    6. Conduct testing and bug fixes with the assigned Testing Support Team as identified by the NRCan Project Authority.     8. Migrate Omnis Studio 10.2 Desktop and/or JavaScript code as identified above to deliver a functional versions of the Specified Purpose Account (SPA), Travel, and Maintenance modules as per the NRCan AMi Grants and Contributions Module version 7.
